We have placed holds on blocks of rooms at the hotels listed below, for you to call and make your own individual reservation. We tried to hold rooms with two beds as much as possible, as often students prefer to save money by having three or four persons share one hotel room. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO MENTION YOU ARE PART OF THE GREAT PLAINS UNDERGRADUATE PSYCHOLOGY CONFERENCE AT MWSU so that you get the group discount.
Be sure to reserve your room(s) as soon as you can! Any rooms not reserved by February 26, 2010 will not be held by the hotel.

Please note most hotels have a policy that they will only rent to persons 21 or older; if your group will not have someone who is 21, be sure to ask if the hotel has this policy, and if they do, explain you are staying at a conference funded by MWSU (they might wave the policy); they may have you sign an extra form saying you won’t do any damage; or provide your professor’s name as verification (some hotels will allow a room of 18-21 year olds if you give them the name and contact information of an older person staying in one of the rooms).

Please note there are other hotels in Saint Joseph besides these – the Best Western, Days Inn, Super 8.

The NCAA Division II Women's Elite 8 Basketball Tournament will be held in St. Joseph the same weekend as Great Plains. It is likely that every available hotel room in the city will be booked. Please book early. These hotels will hold our blocks of rooms only until the end of February.
